West Virginia Weekend

I officially, officially set sail for my travel adventures on Saturday, October 30th. I decided to break up my drive to North Carolina with a weekend in a tiny house in Meadow Creek, West Virginia, in the New River Gorge National Park. Small is too big a word for how tiny the tiny house was. It was a tiny but mighty 120 square feet. I was only there for two nights, and it was quite the experience for myself and my fur crew. I was able to make it to the Sandstone Falls and Grandview areas of the NP during my two days. IT. WAS. STUNNING. The fall colors were insane. I’ll let the photos below speak for themselves. I had to remind myself several times on my hikes to stop, listen, feel, breathe, give gratitude, smell, and take it all in. Nature is so big and we are so small. We should be grateful we are allowed to experience it. Everywhere is beautiful. If you’re willing to see it. Being solo in all of this is already bringing a lot of thoughts and feelings to the surface for me to swirl. I may or may not get into those thoughts here in this space, so for now, photos. Enjoy. ;-)
