Moon Magnets in the Making (Video)

Hello again friendly loves! (Forgive the background noise as I had window units installed today, and needed to test them out.) Thank you as always, for your support and your patience as I’m learning this new medium for sharing. I am not following a script and these are all just flying by the seat of my pants. I want to give insights and behind the scenes looks into my Lunarverse. In this video I start the process of making magnets and give an update on the project I started last week. I so appreciate anyone who takes the time to watch these. Moondrop is also celebrating the first shop sale post travel! I am consistently humbled by this experience and am through the roof grateful. Please leave a comment if you’re feeling nice. ;-) The transcript is below the video.

With love and gratitude, Jessica, Finley & Pito

(transcript below – forgive the word salad)

“Hey friendly folx and Moonbeams! Jessica here with Moondrop Collective. I wanted to catch up after last video, last week if you are watching chronologically, because I get to pour resin soon! This is first time I’m going to be pouring resin in my new space and since my travels. This is post-travel resin. And I’m excited because I started these MoonLights before I left for my travels and these are the impetus for said resin. When I get out my resin I really like to make the most of my time with the resin, and I happen to have 10 of these guys [small round wooden discs] which means I have an opportunity to make moon magnets. This is another little love I made pre-travels that I get to resin this go around. So, I will take us through the process of moon magnet making but I have a head start here and have started some paintings since I have 10. I have some scrap paper here so I made 10 circles. Here’s a little close up, some of them in various stages of completion. I wasn’t sure what colors I was going to do I just walked outside, looked at nature, flowers, Spring and there was my inspiration. Plus I always have to thrown in a moon in there, you know, Moondrop and all. So follow along as I create these magnets! Oh I almost forgot, the whole reason I mentioned last week’s video was because I teased the project I am working on so I wanted to show progress on that. We have some moonscapes taking shape. Another hint, there’s going to be 12 of these and they will all be different. These two are pretty much done I think. This one is still in the works so stay tuned!”
